I Don't Say it But I do Notice

A little boy in grade four quietly watches me mark the notebooks. He tries to guess if the kid gets a star/smiling face or not. As soon as I am done and I look up to the class to search for the kid, he takes it from me and runs to deliver the notebook to the rightful owner. On his way back, he picks up any notebooks that he sees unchecked and brings them over as well. It's like he doesn't want me to want to say anything and just continue my work without interruption.
I sometimes tell him to sit down because I usually don't allow students to keep standing but his curiosity gets the best of him eventually and he stands up to peek in the notebook I'm checking.
